The Gospel Message

The gospel message is the good news that God saves sinners through Jesus Christ. Scripture declares, “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), and “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Yet God, in love, sent His Son: “Christ died for our sins…was buried, and…rose again the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). Salvation is by grace, not works: “By grace are ye saved through faith” (Ephesians 2:8–9). Those who repent and believe receive forgiveness and eternal life in Christ (Acts 16:31; John 3:16).
